We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team. This role will lead efforts to uncover actionable insights from data and provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will be able to navigate unstructured problems and communicate complex insights to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Corporate ‘Strategic Initiative Tracking’: Support the comprehensive strategic initiative program through proactive progress monitoring and reporting of transformation initiatives and strategic projects.
- Management and Tracking: Working cross-functionally with leaders, identify issues for evaluation and discussion in support for strategic goals
- Develop and maintain OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) through initiative based analysis, KPI reports, and/or financial performance
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models inclusive of scenario analysis in support of long-range planning, transformation initiatives and new opportunities.
- Ad Hoc Analysis in Support of Company Strategy, potential topics could include:
- Market studies and analysis to size new opportunities
- Develop Consumer trends
- Inputs for business cases
- Competitive/company analysis
- Continuous Improvement of strategic analysis: Identify and propose opportunities to enhance HBI's capabilities and drive innovative approaches to strategic problems.
- Mentorship: Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within strategy team by fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within junior analysts
Minimum Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field with 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's 3+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
- Advanced Excel and Financial Modeling: Ability to create complex financial models and perform detailed financial analysis.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Proficiency in tools like Power BI, or similar to create insightful dashboards and reports, with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions.
- KPI Tracking: Ability to develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of various initiatives and projects..
- Market Analysis: Strong skills in analyzing market data and conducting market overviews.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and challenge assumptions to drive innovative solutions.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply them to strategic initiatives.
- Program Management: Support cross-functional teams in the execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Define workplans that support multiple analyses and input
