The Senior, Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for independently managing the customer/sku demand forecast in IBP for Kids UW by utilizing historical data, trends, and inputs from sales and marketing. This role leads the Kids UW Pre-DRMs and other customer-related forecasting discussions with PM and Sales, prepares and presents Pre-DRM materials, and collaborates closely with various teams to gather data and insights for demand plans. The Senior, Demand Planning Analyst also attends weekly growth team meetings, manages Sock TILs, exceptions, and change requests, and participates in the Sock Transformation to IBP. This position requires taking initiative in problem-solving, engaging with key partners to refine forecasts, and actively seeking feedback to improve.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage the customer/sku demand forecast in IBP for Kids UW utilizing historical data, trends, and inputs from sales and marketing.
- Lead the Kids UW Pre-DRMs and all other customer-related forecasting discussions with PM and Sales.
- Prepare and present the Pre-DRM materials, including units and dollars view of the forecast by customer.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, stat forecasting, and supply teams to gather data and insights for demand plans.
- Attend weekly growth team meetings for both Kids UW and Socks and other cross-functional meetings as needed.
- Manage Sock TILs, exceptions, and change requests.
- Participate in the Sock Transformation to IBP including data cleansing, testing, and data validation.
- Take initiative in problem-solving, engage with key partners to refine forecasts, and actively seek feedback to improve.
Minimum Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's + 3+ relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., IBP), statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Kids UW and Socks product lines, as well as experience in retail or consumer goods industries
