The Product Analyst II is a key contributor in delivering the HanesBrands Full Potential plan supporting the flagship Hanes Men’s Underwear business. The role will focus on collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify & execute business driving strategies derived from consumer and market insights.

 

Responsibilities

• How You'll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless execution of tasks for Hanes Men’s Underwear
    • Conduct ad hoc analysis to drive profitable sales growth and market share
    • Support e-commerce initiatives to meet customer content score goals and drive digital growth

• Sell to the consumer.

    • Support analysis of consumer needs, preferences, and shopping behaviors
    • Partner with Insights team to support consumer research
    • Partner with brand/creative services to develop and execution packaging

• Sell to the customer.

    • Data analytics to identify opportunity gaps, market trends and rationale to support seasonal opportunities
    • Support merchandise and samples for sales meetings and photo shoots.
    • Create sell-in sheets for key customers, as directed.
    • Mail samples out to customers.

• Offering strategy

    • Work with sales teams to gather data in support of offering strategic decision-making.
    • As directed, conduct ad hoc competitor analysis/ data gathering (e.g., in-store benchmarking of competitor shelf space, price points)

• Garment/ product design and development.

    • Support tactical follow-ups to ensure C2C calendar is tracking, coordinating, as directed, with Supply Chain and CCO contacts as needed.
    • Conduct analysis for item-level target margin decisions.
    • Initial data entry for master style set-up

 

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

 

Preferred Education/ Experience

Master's degree with 1+ years relevant work experience.

Specific Skills or Experience Required

  • 3 years of merchandise planning, marketing, analytics, or project management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
  •  Experience and focus on merchandising as a consumer advocate.
  • Experience in collaborating and partnering cross-functionally to drive the business.
  • Experience in contributing to analysis of business opportunities. Specifically, experience in analysis and understanding and contributing to learnings to support consistent results.
  • Experience working on multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience in leveraging consumer data to drive sales growth.
