We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Social Commerce to join our eCommerce team. This role is critical in driving the growth of our Social Commerce segment by identifying and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape.
Business Development:
- Responsible for driving success for multiple Social Commerce accounts.
- Focus on strategic cross-functional product planning, prioritization, execution, and communication with key stakeholders.
- Optimize Social Commerce presence, drive engaging content, and develop strategies to boost product visibility and drive sales.
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to highlight assortment and support business team initiatives.
- Conduct market research to evaluate competitors and industry trends.
Sales and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners to lead their Social Commerce strategy, scale the influencer affiliate program, manage flash sales, and new product launches while ensuring HBI profitability.
- Align all content and communication with the brand marketing team to ensure a unified brand presence across all platforms
Social Commerce:
- Identify emerging social commerce trends and leverage them to grow social commerce presence driving overall growth and revenue.
- Work with internal Brand and Product teams to identify product, price, and selling strategies across the platforms that also meet Brand standards and requirements.
- Efficiently manage Budget assigned to social channels, working with Procurement and Finance related contacts to ensure all is in compliance with company standards.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with influencers, brands, and tech resource platforms, to enhance social commerce capabilities and reach.
- Analyze and report on performance metrics and consumer experiences for improvements and optimizations of strategies, execution efficiencies and sales growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the eCommerce team to align assortment strategies with overall business goals.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree + 3+ years of relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
Proven experience in ecommerce sales, preferably in the apparel industry.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
