This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and account development plans, including distribution opportunities, continuity assortments, manage excess and obsolete sales and inventory targets specific to the Off Price channel of trade. This role will interface directly with retail buyers, distributors, as well as various HBI cross functional internal partners (customer service, marketing, customer ops, planning, sourcing team). This role will focus on HBI’s Innerwear categories within HBI’s global brand portfolio.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategies to achieve sales and profit targets in Off Price Innerwear categories.
  • Identify product opportunities through competitive analysis and customer needs.
  • Lead product develop strategies for continuity programs in partnership with sourcing teams.
  • Align cross functional teams to execute costing, packaging, calendar and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with production and sourcing to manage order flow and allocation to key customers.
  • Manage Events for key programs and input inventory needs to provide visibility to Supply Chain. Maintain/update as needed.
  • Attend order/event tracking meetings and troubleshoot any issues related to production, pricing and delivery. Communicate updates as needed internally and externally.
  • Process closeout PO’s and create sku breakdowns to pass to customer service for order entry.
  • Track Closeout order status with customer service and retailers to insure accurate reporting of delivery dates and shipment $’s.
  • Maintain order logs with new orders and any changes. Maintain files for all purchase orders.
  • Generate reporting on Off price sales and inventory as needed.
  • Interface with retailer’s merchant teams, in partnership with the sales managers, to discuss business results, assortment decisions and delivery updates.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships with key Growth Team contacts, including the Sales Leads, to understand brand/category strategies to develop sales strategies for key accounts.
  • Gather sales samples and presentation material as required for sell-in meetings, etc.
  • Process TOP samples and send to retailers as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible core office hours that align with dual hemisphere time zones

 

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's + 3+ relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

  • Exceptional computer skills required: MS Office (strong Excel and Powerpoint skills)

  • Some Travel Required
