Responsibilities
- Lead the Data & Analytics program management office, driving the definition of goals, deliverables, timelines in alignment with strategic objectives and shifting priorities.
- Partner with Directors of Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Data Governance, and Category Captaincy to develop a cohesive vision and prioritize initiatives.
- Oversee the intake process for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmap and goals.
- Manage prioritization of initiatives and deliverables to optimize resources and impact, providing proactive recommendations to mitigate risks and improve initiative outcomes, maintaining high visibility and trust with leadership.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to forecast resource demands and develop resourcing plans that maximize impact. Manage project budget and resource allocation.
- Synthesize complex initiative updates into clear, actionable insights for senior executives and board-level discussions.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with the executive leadership team with high-impact materials for the C[1]suite, ensuring clear communication of milestones, ROI, and business impact.
- Own the monthly Data & Analytics Business Review to track progress, address challenges, and highlight successes.
- Develop and manage ROI reporting for all Data & Analytics initiatives.
- Chair weekly Data & Analytics staff meetings, ensuring clear alignment, transparency, and progress tracking across teams.
- Act as a liaison between the Data & Analytics organization and other business units to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
Minimum Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field with 8+ years relevant work experience; 12+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Education/ Experience
Master's degree in a relevant field
Preferred Certifications
Project management qualifications (PMP, Prince2, or equivalents) – highly desirable.
Specific Skills or Experience Required
- Proven track record of managing projects in AI, analytics, IT, or data-driven domains.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, analytics platforms, and data tools.
- Strong proficiency in creating executive-level presentations and reports.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, or similar).
- Budget planning and financial tracking expertise.
- Management of multi-disciplinary team development to meet deadline and deliverable quality.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring teams.
- Experience with retail or consumer packaged goods is a plus.
