How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement database strategies, architecture, and standards to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries and managing indexes for efficient data retrieval.
  • Oversee regular maintenance tasks, ensuring database reliability and availability.
  • Provide expert-level support for resolving database issues and implementing corrective measures.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience. 4 years of additional work experience can replace the Bachelor's degree requirement. 
  • Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, and security practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
