The part-time internship program is designed for juniors, seniors, or actively enrolled graduate students from colleges or universities partnered with HanesBrands. Students must be early career, degree-seeking, and have good academic and disciplinary standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

 

The internship program covers various functional areas, including Innerwear, HR/Legal, Strategy and IT, Supply Chain, and Finance. Selected Product Analyst interns will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with a leading HBI apparel brand. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about product management and how HanesBrands brings products to market, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 

The Product Analyst Intern will report directly to the Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager. Key responsibilities will include working alongside cross-functional teams to plan and executive product management and product-to-market strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Pkg updates/product claims routing
    • New Softener finish project – rewrite product claims & reroute + any additional packaging needs
  • Holiday ecommerce banners/ecom related product system set ups
  • Qualitative research support
    • Sample coordination
    • Questionnaire prep
  • Ecom support
    • Help ecom team audit PDPs (product page imagery/copy)
    • Coordinate any additional image shots/copy needed
    • Help with pricing monitoring (periodic auditing across retailer product listings to ensure minimum advertised pricing policy is met)
  • General reporting:
    • Assist with sales data review & reporting through Circana/Luminate/Cube reports
    • Help with new product sales tracking
    • Assist with surplus inventory reporting

 

Minimum Education/ Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited university, both at the time of application 

and throughout the internship duration.

Entry-level knowledge/experience: Demonstrated through roles or team-based activities (e.g., school projects, part-time employment, volunteer work, etc.).

Specific Skills or Experience Required

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior, or Graduate Student and currently enrolled in a B.A/B.S. Degree program with emphasis in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a similar related major.
