The Director, Creative Brand Marketing is responsible for leading the overall creative vision and execution for the apparel company. This role involves overseeing the development of innovative and cohesive creative concepts for marketing campaigns, product branding, and all visual communications. The Director will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and digital teams to ensure the brand's identity is consistently represented across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a strong creative portfolio, and leadership experience in a fast-paced, fashion or apparel environment.

 

Responsibilities

•        Lead the creative direction: Define and execute the overall creative vision for marketing campaigns, product branding, and digital assets.

•        Oversee creative teams: Manage and inspire a team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality, innovative content.

•        Ensure brand consistency: Ensure that all creative work aligns with the brand's identity, tone, and strategic goals across all platforms and media.

•        Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and digital teams to create cohesive, integrated campaigns.

•        Develop innovative concepts: Drive the ideation and creation of unique, compelling creative ideas that elevate the brand and engage consumers.

•        Manage external partners: Oversee relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and freelance talent to deliver projects on time and on budget.

•        Monitor industry trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends, technologies, and innovations to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry.

•        Oversee creative production: Ensure the flawless execution of creative assets, from concept through production, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.

•        Present creative strategies: Lead the presentation of creative concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind creative decisions.

 

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

11+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.  

 

Preferred Education/ Experience        

Master’s degree in Creative Direction, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience in global marketing and working on international campaigns.

 

Specific Skills or Experience Required

•        Strong creative portfolio showcasing a range of innovative and impactful campaigns.

•        Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.

•        Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide creative teams.

•        Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to non-creative stakeholders.

•        Deep understanding of consumer behavior and how to create compelling content that resonates with the target audience.

•        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
