Responsible for the global leadership and management of the Company’s global cash, operations, working capital, internal capital structure and holding companies. Also, owns global cash forecasting and cash repatriation strategies worldwide to ensure liquidity and strategic cash flow metrics are achieved to fund Company operations and strategic initiatives. Leads and develops a team of 12 professionals in 3 offices across the globe (Winston-Salem, NC, Zug, Switzerland and San Salvador, El Salvador). Works cross functionally with various internal partners including Global Transaction Services, Procurement, Accounting, Tax and Legal, many times in lead roles, to meet Company goals. Manages key banking relationships and other Treasury vendors to ensure operations are efficient, effective, protected and cost controlled.
Responsibilities
• Develops global investment strategy and implementation of excess Cash, balancing liquidity and return
• Oversees cash operations and safeguarding of assets globally with receipts, payments and letters of credit
• Leads all global working capital initiatives including Asset Backed Securitization (ABS), receivables financing, customer supply chain finance and vendor supply chain finance programs to improve liquidity and cash flow, with best in class operations and pricing
• Oversees external debt management globally including borrowings and repayments of revolving debt, and interest payments on all short-term and long-term debt instruments in Company capital structure
• Owns the internal capital structure for Treasury including the strategy and execution of intercompany dividends, intercompany loans and notional cash pool to fund operations for all of the Company’s global commercial and supply chain businesses
• Partners with Tax and Legal to efficiently and cost effectively design global cash movement and repatriation strategies, then leads execution, to fund strategic initiatives including acquisitions, shareholder dividends and share repurchases
• Manages all holding companies worldwide to support internal capital structure
• Leads global cash forecasting for the Company, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and effective communication of forecasts on a weekly basis, overlaying with analytics and continuous improvement mindset, to ensure high confidence visibility for Executive Management to provide guidance and make strategic Cash allocation decisions
• Designs and ensures compliance with Internal Controls for all areas of responsibility
• Oversees global bank structure and bank fees to support Treasury operations
• Coordinates SG&A budgeting and variance analysis for all global Treasury teams
• Leads and/or participates in Special Projects as directed by Executive Management
Minimum Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years relevant work experience including prior management experience OR Master's with 8+ years; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education/ Experience
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or similar global certification preferred
Specific Skills or Experience Required
• BS in business, finance, accounting, or economics required, MBA or MS preferred
• Proficiency in MS office including Power BI and knowledge of Bloomberg preferred
• 10+ years working for complex, multinational company with both commercial and supply chain businesses, including prior experience in Treasury Department, required.
