The part-time internship program is designed for juniors, seniors, or actively enrolled graduate students from colleges or universities partnered with HanesBrands. Students must be early career, degree-seeking, and have good academic and disciplinary standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
The internship program covers various functional areas, including Innerwear, HR/Legal, Strategy and IT, Supply Chain, and Finance. As a remote or hybrid, part-time position, this internship offers students the flexibility to adjust their work hours around their school schedule, ensuring a balanced approach to academic and professional development. Additionally, this job provides access to benefits such as the Employee Assistance Program and Retirement Savings Plan. A full benefits package (prorated vacation days and holidays) may also be available if the required average hours for eligibility are met, which is at least 30 hours per week (or 130 hours per month).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication plans to support the organization's key priorities, including live events, written content, and video to reach associates.
- Participate in daily staff meetings and have assigned daily and weekly deliverables supporting the team.
- Gain exposure to other teams and functions globally, along with visibility to the executive leadership team across the company.
- Take ownership of a key communications project, including developing a communications plan, gaining approvals, developing assets, and deploying all communications (both internal and external) to drive organizational success.
- Gain experience in key aspects of Corporate Communications, including copy editing, video production planning and execution, photography, script development, event planning and execution, intranet site development, and special projects as needed.
Minimum Education/ Experience
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited university, both at the time of application and throughout the internship duration.
Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience.
