Sr Staff Accountant

Summary

Responsibilities include multiple areas of Accounting of Finance.  Including, but not limited to Month End Close Process, Financial Reporting & Annual Budgeting & Forecasting, as well as overall Finance Support of all Business Operations.  This position is responsible for accurate and timely support surrounding various Finance functions to support & drive company success.  

Essential Duties

• Assist in producing Monthly Financial Reporting Package, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows; along with any & all supporting schedules. 
• Support Month-End Close Process, Preparing Journal Entries & Account Reconciliations ensuring Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness.
• Develop, update & support Business KPI’s to support internal  Sales & Brand partners 
• Help Develop & Maintain ERP Functionality for Accounting & Financial Purposes
• Support the Annual Budget Process
• Help support periodic revised Sales Forecast & Financial guidance as requested. 
• Support Brand & Product Teams to report, monitor, and evaluate product margin performance to ensure profitability targets are achieved. 
• Support Customer Profitability Analysis & Requests
• Various Ad-hoc and reporting requests & projects. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills required
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve, self-motivate, and professionally communicate with vendors and customers.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills as well as team and interpersonal skills.
