Position Overview:
This primary function of this position is to identify, verify, and read the UPS/Pp orders for shipment and to lad cases onto the trailers for shipment according to work order specifications and quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Review wok schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
- Perform general housekeeping duties regarding tools and equipment and in work area as needed
- Ship all small parcel accounts with correct required shipping codes and according to instructions from the small parcel customer shipping requirements
- ability to run necessary as400 wm queries multiple times daily to support shipments of exports, direct to store, military and all other small parcel accounts.
- Expedite cartons needed to complete sequential shipments
- Read and execute ability to ship small parcel accounts according to instructions including, assigning air freight and ocean freight charges to accounts shipping by these means.
- Utilize computer, internet, and associated software to pre-pay shipments for expediting
- Create loads, manifests, terms, and invoices for each account as needed
- Use stamp and meter to assist with preparing mail for pick up to take to post office as needed charges.
- Operate Auto Shrink wrap machine
- Update small parcel instruction booklet with any necessary changes to account information.
- Close out manifests at the end of your shift daily
- Run blind pallet labels for pack and hold locations and perform any and all job responsibilities requested by supervision or management
- Fill out all daily documentation
- Perform additional job duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager

• At the beginning of the shift, the employee will review the work instructions and schedule with the supervisor. The employee will obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. The employee will put on all of the required PPE and safety gear.
