Slotting Scheduler -1st Shift - Distro - CL & CB 

Responsible for providing  for the Planning, Scheduling, and Slotting of the distribution operations.

POSITIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for monitoring wave shortages and slotting any sku’s that have inventory available.
• Plannng and scheduling the inventory needed for pallet pick inventory.
• Responsible for communicating to Customer Service, Production Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
• Maintain Operational Data in support of DC: Capacity, Storage, and Slotting information.
• Make Operations Management aware of potential opportunities, constraints, or pitfalls that would have a significant impact on DC productivity and/or cost.
• Ensure effective inventory control procedures are being followed.
• Responsible for miscellaneous projects as assigned.
• Responsible for assisting the distribution department with inventory issues.

MIMINUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/DEGREES: Four year college degree preferred or equivalent experience.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 

• 3-5 years as a technical/analytical support person for operations or engineering in a distribution environment.

TYPE OF EXPERIENCE: 

• General supervisory/managerial experience,
• Knowledge of distribution functions
• PKMS Warehouse Management System preferred
• Kkills in planning, scheduling, staffing, organizational development, budgeting, and communication are required
• The ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadership
• Excel and Word qualifications
