Provides application and infrastructure support to Hanesbrands Inc. associates based in manufacturing and distribution locations. The incumbent is usually located at a facility but may support multiple business functions across multiple locations or countries/regions.


1.Provides support for all applications in their location(s). Understands the business processes associated with the application and knows what IT or business associate can help resolve the problem.

2. Works closely with IT global application support teams to document and resolve support issues.

3. Provides support for all desktop users including problem assessment and resolution. Defines the problem and is capable of using different approaches to solve problems.

4. Prepares written detail plans for junior team members for infrastructure services and applications implementation projects. Must assist with hardware/software installations.

5. Participates in the planning and execution of the migration to new software and hardware, such as new operating systems and upgraded equipment.


· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field and a minimum of four years work experience.

· Experience with at least a programming language (Visual Basic or C# preferred)

· Experience with at least a database engine (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)

· Intermediate English Level

· Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

· Demonstrates ability to provide excellent customer service and to form strong working partnerships within IT and within the business community.

· Ability to work with multiple projects at same time
