A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Associate, Finance Analyst - Supply Chain, your day will be dynamic and varied, supporting multiple areas within Supply Chain Finance. You'll be cross-trained across inventory adjustments, freight, intercompany transactions, excess and obsolete inventory, inventory reporting, manufacturing support departments, and SOX and other internal controls. Your responsibilities will change based on the needs of the business, providing you with exposure to key components of the Supply Chain.

 

How You'll Make an Impact
•    Freight 80%- Inventory/Audit/Intercompany transactions 20%
•    Prepare daily reports on interface errors between WMS and SAP, ensuring proper accounting and resolution.
•    Track and report on inventory adjustments and freight expenses, analyzing variances and identifying root causes.
•    Summarize monthly freight expenses by mode of transportation (ocean freight, air freight, etc.) and analyze freight spend to understand budget variances.
•    Obtain reports from Logistics showing all container moves and work with Logistics to ensure the lanes are properly valued as the basis for recognizing monthly expenses and freight accrual.
•    Reconcile carrier statements with 3PL reporting to ensure invoices are properly captured and paid, following up on open/unpaid invoices with carriers and Logistics to address process issues.
•    Ensure intercompany profit elimination, settle receivables and payables, and reflect transactions accurately.
•    Run monthly Life Cycle Analyzer (LCA) reports, record excess and obsolete inventory reserves, and enhance reporting tools for sales and marketing.
•    Maintain compliance with SOX and internal controls, ensuring proper approvals and timely reconciliations.
•    Execute additional freight reporting requirements, analysis, and project work as needed to support strategic decision-making.

 

What You Bring
•    Bachelor's degree (Logistics/Customs Administration/International Trade/Finance/Industrial engineering) with 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
•    Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
•    Demonstrated analytical curiosity and excellent communication skills
•    Prior experience with SAP and Lawson is preferred
