A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Assistant, AR Collections at HanesBrands, your typical day will involve proactively managing a portfolio of accounts receivable. You'll collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve past-due issues, reconcile receivables, and ensure timely collections to minimize financial risks. 🤝 Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in adhering to policies and procedures while fostering positive customer relationships.

How You'll Make an Impact
•    Reduce past-due A/R balances and bad debt expense losses through effective collections strategies
•    Reconcile customer accounts and review shipping documents for accuracy
•    Identify and communicate potential business risks or unprofitable practices
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and escalate cases when necessary

What You Bring
•    Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting, or finance (either completed or currently enrolled in) is required, along with 1+ years of relevant experience. Professional internships completed to obtain a diploma at the technical college level may also be considered.
•    Proficiency in SAP and strong MS Office skills, including Excel PivotTables and formulas. Proficiency in Excel reporting is required
•    Knowledge and prior experience in credit and collections is strongly preferred
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish
•    High level of organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continually changing environment
