As a Business Analyst - Supply Chain, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our products move smoothly from production to the hands of our customers. In this role, you will influence and enable the practice of analytics by directly engaging with your business partners. You’ll analyze data across various supply chain functions, helping us improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery. Responsibilities:

•    Business Acumen and Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of HBI’s business strategies, objectives, and competitive landscape. Support planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, finance and product teams to leverage data-driven analytics for informed decision-making that drive business outcomes, results, and value. Identify critical business challenges and use analytics to propose inventive solutions that drive growth, efficiency, cash generation, and profitability.
•    Data Analysis: Query data from source warehouses and curate into analytic base tables that enable you to conduct analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from data and support business decision-making. Build visual analytics and dashboards as appropriate.
•    Business Problem Solving and Collaboration with Data Science: Develop business cases and frame analytical solutions that address business problems and opportunities. Regularly review and analyze business performance leveraging deductive and inductive thinking principles to identify areas for improvement and propose analytic initiatives. Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to implement these solutions effectively.
•    Business Communication: Translate analytical findings into actionable, business-focused actions and effectively communicate decision support narratives. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for analytical initiatives.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization, including marketing, finance, operations, and product development, to identify analytical business process needs.
•    Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in analytics and seek opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation. 
•    Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support special projects and initiatives.

 

Minimum Education/ Experience    

Bachelor's degree in business administration, mathematics, economics, data analytics, or related field with 3+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree   

Preferred Master's degree with 1+ relevant work experience; Industrial and systems engineering and/or data modeling/engineering experience a plus
Preferred Certifications on Six Sigma/Lean, Fabric/Power BI Data Analyst, Databricks Data Analyst

 

Specific Skills or Experience Required:
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
•    Proficiency in analysis tools and business intelligence software such as PowerBI.
•    Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
•    Ability to align analytical solutions with business objectives and strategies.
•    Strong understanding of retail operations, product lifecycle management, and/or supply chain is a significant plus.
