Overview

Installs, repairs and maintains a variety of machinery, conveyors and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Assists in performing all required operations to install, repair and adjust machinery and equipment under guidance of more skilled mechanic.  Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment required.  Perform other duties in maintenance department as required.  Observes all safty rules and regulations.  Maintains good housekeeping.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Education Required:  Must ahve 1 year experience in maintenance and have demonstrated the ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, drawings, etc.  Must be able to solve simple math problems independently.  Must have working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.  Experience in operating powered equipment, i.e. fork lift, power pallett jack, reahc truck, etc. 

High school Diploma or GED required.
