The opportunity

Support the seasonal development process for Hanes Activewear, Scrubs, Comfywear, Printwear from ideation to production. 

Scope:

  • Develop new products on time
  • Costing; share proto costing to the BU, work with sourcing to run cost estimates/quick costs
  • Review testing reports for claims against company standards
  • Ensure accurate product specifications 

The role 

  • Act as a liaison between Sourcing, Business Units, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Support PD/TD timelines, calendar optimization, and workflow alignment with E2E teams.
  • Manage Workfront tasks and lead weekly reviews to address delays or risks.
  • Attend fittings to provide costing insights and support technical development needs.
  • Manage claims documentation, tracking, and validation across BOMs, specs, and reports.
  • Update BOMs, support color‑ups, and create tech packs for development and production.
  • Assist Design with fabric/material sourcing and provide informed recommendations.
  • Support cost‑savings initiatives and re‑sourcing/internalization projects.
  • Coordinate wear trials and communicate actionable feedback.
  • Work closely with Senior PD/TD and cross functional partners in PM, Design, Sourcing, Planning, and Quality to resolve development and production issues.

The requirements 

Education Required

  • Undergraduate or Graduate in Textile, Design/ Product Development or Marketing and Brand Management.

Experience Required 

  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • DPC/3D Experience: Browzwear

  • PLM Experience: Flex PLM, Centric
